Strategic Mentor

Erik Estrada is a partner at Sector Law and a professor at the University of Colorado Boulder, bringing extensive experience as an attorney, legal executive, educator, author, and nonprofit board member. His career includes practicing corporate law at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and Davis Graham & Stubbs, serving as general counsel of a major corporate foundation, and advising philanthropic organizations on governance, compliance, grantmaking, and complex transactions. He is also the bestselling author of Understanding Nonprofit Law and Finance, a textbook adopted by Harvard Law School, and provides Leeds Law Group with strategic guidance and insight into the intersection of business and law.

Originally from Denver, Laird is a Finance and Accounting student at the Leeds School of Business and the founder of Leeds Law Group. He is also a member of the Leeds Scholars Program and will intern with the Denver District Attorney's Office Human Trafficking Unit. Through Leeds Law Group, Laird aims to connect students with legal professionals, educational opportunities, and practical exposure to the legal field.

Originally from Colorado, William is a Finance student at the Leeds School of Business who plans to pursue law school after graduation. His experience in logistics and customer service has strengthened his teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills, which he brings to supporting the organization's leadership, programming, and continued growth.

Originally from Virginia, Sofia is a Finance and Marketing student at the Leeds School of Business and a member of the Leeds Scholars Program. As Vice President of Marketing, she leads Leeds Law Group's branding, communications, and promotional strategy while helping expand the organization's presence across campus.

Originally from Colorado, Arjun is an Honors Finance and Accounting student at the Leeds School of Business and a member of the Leeds Scholars Program. He brings experience from KeyBanc Capital Markets, accounting, equity research, and financial-markets writing to his role overseeing the organization's financial planning and supporting its long-term growth.

Originally from San Diego, Sage is a Finance and Accounting student at the University of Colorado Boulder and a member of the Leeds Scholars Program. Her experience in wealth management, sales, and coordinating large-scale new-member events helps her create an engaging, welcoming, and professionally valuable experience for Leeds Law Group members.

Originally from Colorado, Maxwell is a Finance student at the Leeds School of Business with interests in leadership, relationship-building, and future graduate study. His experience in customer-facing roles, including four years as a caddie, has strengthened his communication and networking skills, which he brings to expanding Leeds Law Group's professional and campus partnerships.

Sam Kerkhove is a junior at the University of Colorado Boulder's Leeds School of Business, where he is pursuing a degree in Marketing. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Sam serves as Leeds Law Group's Director of Merchandise & Social Events, helping organize social programming and manage merchandise initiatives for the organization.

Remy Wolkov is a junior at the University of Colorado Boulder's Leeds School of Business, where she is pursuing a degree in Business with emphases in Finance and Real Estate. She is also a member of the Leeds Scholars Program and brings leadership experience from her work as a tennis coach and assistant camp manager. As Leeds Law Group's Director of Internal Affairs, Remy helps support internal coordination, member engagement, and organization across the club.
